About Maya Singing Bowl
Sound Therapy, Healing and Training centre
Meet Maya – founder of Maya Singing Bowl and experienced practitioner in the art of sound and vibration healing. Maya founded Maya Singing Bowl in 2020. Bringing her vision to life and creating a conscious heart-based community. ‘Maya means Love’, says Maya, it is the core of the centre. She began practising singing bowls 6 years ago, working closely with her teacher in Kathmandu and travelling to share their practices with others. After working with the singing bowls with the women she was working with as a social worker, Maya felt inspired to pursue her love of healing through the bowls and create her own centre in the beautiful sunny Pokhara. Together with her partner, Maya and Yogi run the centre and café. Offering sound healing and organic locally and ethically produced speciality coffee, which is processed, roasted and prepared in-house.‘ When the bowls found me in my life, it was like I was finally home. I had always had singing bowls in my house growing up, but I didn’t understand at that time what power they held. Like many other people, life brought me some difficult times. During my spiritual path, I tried everything that came to me, the different meditations and practices. But when the bowls found me again, I felt the energy and I felt the vibrations; I felt this intense feeling of belonging, of acceptance – of this calling. I felt Life and I learned how to live for today and love every moment, through the good and the bad. Sharing the energy of the bowls is where my spiritual path has led me and I am eternally grateful.’
Our philosophy/intentions:
Nature is our greatest teacher
We draw inspiration from nature and follow the natural principles of reciprocity. Everything is energy and all energy is borrowed. We are gifted energy from mother earth when we birth into this world and will return this energy once we pass into the next. Nature is like our mother, our sacred womb, she gives us everything. We gratefully honour this gift through the temple of our body, which is a temple to mother earth itself – nourishing it with unconditional love, compassion, and presence. that is always available to us through the frequency of nature.
Remembering that we are one with nature, we can learn from the cyclical wisdom of the earth and through this cultivate the abundant and infinite wisdom of the body. Opening ourselves to receive the universal energy of unconditional love through sound and vibrations, we can awaken spiritually and return home to ourselves in a full alignment, peace and acceptance for all moments of life. This energy brings us a sacred relationship to life, grounding, calmness and stability.
Through the vibrations of nature and the bowls, we step into a harmonious, reciprocal and sacred relationship with the divine and nature. We humbly offer these healing vibrations in honour of mother earth to serve the spiritual awakening, healing and unconditional love that lies within each and every one of us.
Why heal with Singing Bowls?
Singing bowls are an ancient healing practice that has been used for thousands of years. The sound brings stillness to the mind, whilst the vibration moves the energy throughout our entire bodies tuning into the frequency of universal consciousness and love. Bringing balance to the mind, energy field and body by restoring the healthy vibratory frequency of the chakras to induce healing, such as stress relief or other conditions. Opening yourself to receive the vibrations of the bowls, you lean with compassion into complete presence, being in the here and now. Connecting to yourself and tapping into the deep wisdom of your body to heal; whilst grounding into the high frequency of the earth. Receiving the vibrations allows for deep rest, and nourishment, raising your vibrational frequency and connecting with your higher self. Working with the energy of the divine, bowls are an incredibly powerful tool to bring alignment and healing in a beautifully simple and serene way.
Water and Vibrations
Around 60% of our body is water Healing through vibrations Singing bowls vibrate the water of our bodies Water is the essence of life and is the connection between everything – we birth from water in the womb, water sustains life and brings us constant purification. It is formless and holds infinite potential. From a soft raindrop to the power of the rumbling ocean. All water is interconnected, flowing from one form into another, always coming into connection again.

Some feedback from our clients
We had the most amazing morning here with an amazing vegetarian breakfast, insanely delicious coffee, and the most relaxing sound bath.
We visited for the free morning session at 9.30 every morning but we would definitely recommend contacting them about coming for breakfast and coffee! Maya & Yogi really are the sweetest people and we cannot wait to see them again soon!
This is awesome

I’m an Australian who visited Maya Singing Bowl October & November 2022. Maya has a natural gift with the singing bowl healing and vibration massage. Coffee is available and I’m no coffee connoisseur but the coffee is good with many varieties available for purchase.
Their warmth and how welcoming they make you feel is unlike anything I’ve felt. The energy of their home and studio is calming, soothing and peaceful. They are honest and will assist you with any questions you have regarding traveling Nepal.
There are courses available and singing bowl’s available for purchase and less expensive than anywhere else in Nepal. The quality is also of the highest standard.
The concept of Donation or Free is something that resonates with me. A nice exchange. Keep in mind as westerners offering a few extra RS will always help 🙏🏻
